Students are back in the classroom where they spend a majority of their young lives. Making our classroom a shared welcoming environment is as crucial to their academic success as lesson design and implementation. Having something alive and growing with them helps them to feel welcome, being able to explore the room and find new treasures excites their curiosity for geography and the world around them. Cultivating their curiosity and inquisitive spirit is essential to their growth as students and humans. Being able to create a welcoming environment that fosters their growth and learning is crucial and thanks to your support a reality of our environment. These students are apprehensive at best when they enter High School; they have grown so much because of what Donors Choose has provided to my classroom and students. Thank you for giving them what they need to thrive and love school! We appreciate YOU!
