These comfortable seats will be used to create a cozy, safe reading nook. I feel that this will be an important addition to the classroom for my students. Many of my students are beginning to enjoy reading and there is not a place where they can retreat to. I am hoping this will make school more appealing to them, too. When students are overwhelmed, they can take a time-out and escape into a book in a comfortable place removed from the main area of the classroom. It would improve the climate of my classroom as a safe place for them.
