My students need to learn and practice self-management and self-awareness skills. With the pandemic of Covid-19 and the masks, students have felt isolated more than ever before. Students are learning what it is like to be in school with the demand of academics and the extracurriculars added on. Some of these children are needing extra help. I am a special educator who is filling the gap in teaching students about self-awareness and self-management. We are also including the growth mindset as well as mindfulness. These books and games will be a fun way for these students to engage, learn and apply the skills as they develop them.
