My Geography students will have an opportunity to use the Oculus to travel anywhere in the world with various virtually immersive apps! Many of the students at our school don't have an opportunity to travel due to limited financial resources. This will allow them to explore locations in a different way than they've experienced at school before. Their educational experience will change forever! Google Earth VR will allow them to explore virtual locations throughout the world! They would be able to use the National Geographic Explore VR app to see destinations like Machu Pichu and Antartica. The Anne Frank VR app will allow my History students to experience what life was like in 1942 during WWII. With the portable projector, I will be able to take my Sports Psychology students to the gym, where we can do active engagement activities, while still having the technology to learn through PowerPoint, videos, or technologically stimulating mediums. This projector will also help my AP Psychology students to learn content anywhere on campus and enhance their experience in our classroom. I will be able to change seating arrangements in my class so that everyone can engage in small groups, but still have visual access to content posted through the portal projector. The possibilities are endless!
