The supplies that I have requested will help students be motivated to stay at school and help them be excited about working towards their goals. At elementary, we have a strong focus on Check-In, Check-Out which is a daily meeting with students at the beginning and end of the day to help remind them of appropriate behavior, set goals, and build relationships with adults in the building. These new prizes will excite our students and encourage them to work towards difficult goals. Along with these prizes helping to motivate students, the curriculum that we have requested will also help us as professionals provide eveidence-based practice in our group and individual counseling sessions. This year we have had a significant increase in parents and students requesting to work with someone in the counseling center. These curriculum will help us increase our knowledge and resources to create effective and engaging groups.
