This request for putty, kinetic sand, and other sensory materials will help students that might need to take a moment away from their class work and receive stress reducing tools so they can stay in the classroom and hopefully bounce back sooner. Classroom management by teachers is key to student success and if I can help provide more tools for the teacher to help manage their classroom this would be it. This is a way for the counseling center to support the school and teachers by collaborating together on what works and what changes could be implemented next.
