Students learn best when lessons are engaging, collaborative, and relevant to their lives. Most of our students have missed out on opportunities to work collaboratively during the pandemic. This project will give these opportunities back to our kids. These Breakout EDU kits will give my students the opportunity to complete challenging tasks together when it is safe to do so in person and access to the online platform will allow them the opportunity to collaborate virtually when it is not safe to work together in person. My students will enhance their learning of the social studies curriculum by engaging in challenging hands-on activities. They will also develop important social skills in the process.
