These materials will help my students develop gross and fine motor skills through hands-on play. They will be able to use the sensory table and sand to explore and strengthen their hand-eye coordinator and encourage exploration. It will also be a great center for both the preschoolers and high schoolers to play at and encourage cooperative play between them. My students love to play with magna tiles and I want to expand on the small set we currently have. With the magnets, they get to stretch their imaginations by using simple shapes to build an infinite number of things. They will especially love the parts with wheels to make their own car creations.
