The students will be able to be creative and express themselves with the art supplies. We do a lot of writing and adding art to it with the painting supplies will help them express themselves. The things I have ordered will both help motivate my students and help them positively interact with each other resulting in higher levels of social-emotional maturity. I have also ordered personal hygiene items that they will have the opportunity to take if not available at home. My students are behind and trying so hard to make up lost ground. These supplies, such as the treats requested, will be used to help keep them moving forward and as rewards for hard work! I'm a 2nd-year teacher so I have a very minimally furnished classroom. The computer chair will help greatly with the amount of extra time spent in front of the computer setting things up virtually for my students quarantined. The laminator will be used to print things such as writing rubrics and checklists to be reused again and again saving time on prep and money for paper copies.
