After spending a year in a virtual math class, my students have grown tired of learning through a screen. Because of this, I push to use as many paper materials as possible including making my own worksheets or finding activities through Teachers Pay Teachers. I've found that specifically All Things Algebra curriculum has been the most effective in terms of engagement and learning. My goal is to buy the entire Algebra II curriculum (from All Things Algebra) as a supplement to their learning. The guided notes, worksheets, and activities help me provide differentiation in my classroom. Students are able to clearly see how problems should be solved through clear, effective worksheets. As a first-year teacher and the only Algebra II teacher at my school, I want to continue engaging my students in class by showing them how math can be both important and interesting. This curriculum will not only be used through the rest of the school year but for years to come.
