Maud has very few students go on to college after school. They have no librarian, and the previous English teacher had no textbooks for 10 years. I got books this year for 2 classes, but I didn't get anything for my AP class. I want to give them more tools to succeed on ACT and AP. I also need to help supply my classroom, which has no pencil sharpener or markers unless I buy them. My students have no lockers to put their books in, so I have to supply them with folders as many won't be able to get their own.
