As an art teacher in a school beginning their first art program, I am hoping to give my students the opportunity to create new and exciting art projects that they may have never done before. I am currently building the foundation for all art classes and hoping to give students a chance to continue learning about art. In order to help my students grow, I hope to get more art supplies to give my students a chance to make new and unique projects. These materials will be used in class for students to learn new techniques with markers and allow my students more room to store their artwork. The drying racks will be used for an area for students to store their artwork without having to worry about their hard work smudging or getting ruined. I want to teach my students blending techniques with marker as well as blending with colored pencils. Blending is a practice that does not get enough attention when students are creating for the first time, and I hope that my lessons give them that chance.
