This project will fund the purchase of books to create an art learning library for Red Cliffs Elementary. The chosen books will be an in-depth resource for students to mine while creating projects. These books will give students access to varied and high-quality information on art techniques and art's relationship to their natural world. Various parts of the library will be available for in-class and at-home learning depending on student needs. The library will also be used as a resource by students who would like to better understand fundamental skills and as an extension aid for students who would like to progress further in a specific area. Currently, students have access to my knowledge as their teacher and their peers as fellow artists but this library would be a treasure trove of other voices they could use to advance their learning. My students' passion for art will be greatly served by your funding of this project, thank you.
