Several of my AP Chemistry and AP Physics students carry full class loads as well working part-full time jobs. The cost of a graphing calculator is a burden for many. Having a set of four calculators would allow us the option to check out calculators to students who are in this situation. Having a calculator available to use would allow these students access to this content and technology without straining their families and their budgets. Help develop the love of science in our future scientists by removing a financial barrier. Many of these students are exploring what science discipline they might study in college (Chemistry, Physics, Nursing, etc.).
