Students can use these journals both inside and outside the classroom. Students will be filling the journals with opinions, ideas, and discoveries! When students write about what they learn it sticks with them and creates a rich background of knowledge they can draw from. Also when students are asked to write essays this journal will give them a personal resource of historical facts, opinions, and personalized perspectives they can use. It is amazing what a simple spiral notebook can do for a students education, but first we need to make sure everyone has access to one.
