Our school doesn't have a school library so classroom libraries are even more important here! I am a first year teacher and looking to grow my classroom library. "There's no such thing as a kid who hates reading-There are kids who love reading, and kids who are reading the wrong books"-James Patterson. My students chose the books on this list as ones they would love to read and boy do they love to read! They can take home books any time they want so they always have the opportunity to read. We have a tiny classroom-the bookcases on this list will provide more storage capacity and add to our calm and welcoming classroom environment.
