We need to expand our reading by updating our in-classroom library to meet their current reading levels. Our class is in a hybrid model of learning and are desperate to have reading books at their levels. The ability to read is life changing and necessary to function in everyday life and within the community. We continue to explore and expand learning activities about identifying the key story elements, building comprehension skills, learning to sequence, and other skills that will correlate into independent living skills. By requesting small group sets of book titles, it will provide my students the opportunities to develop reading skills, work together, and learn from each other. The students will work through our classroom software platforms to expand their learning and reading skills by integrating key phonic awareness strategies within the learning activities with partner-pair book lessons. Help my students explore the excitement of reading through structured small reading exploration lessons.
