Bring a beloved garden back to life! I would love to provide not only the students in my Kindergarten class, but also to the entire student body at my urban elementary school with the experience of creating and tending to a garden. About 5 years ago, I worked for months building a garden from scratch for the kids. It was amazing for students to experience the entire plant life cycle, food to table nutrition education, hands on science activities, and a willingness to try new healthy foods. Unfortunately, while at home for over a year during the pandemic the garden suffered greatly and needs to be redone. Please help my students bring this garden back to life and have fun learning as they do.
