Each of our mathematics classrooms is in desperate need of a new class set of calculators. Instead of just filling the empty slots in our calculator caddies with your run of the mill calculators, we thought it would be fun to have the students in our art classes create original works of art on the cover of each calculator, creating a mosaic of student art in each of our classrooms. We encourage our students to take pride in their school environment. This project would fulfill a very practical need, while also allowing our students to explore a new medium, make their mark, and brighten up our classrooms with original works of art.

About my class
