Books! We are revamping our classroom library to meet the needs of the students, grasp their attention, encourage engagement, include inclusiveness, and provide them with the love of reading. We strive to challenge our students every day. The majority of our students come from low-income backgrounds and struggle to bring supplies to class. My goal as a teacher is to help students reach their dreams and goals. The students share many supplies and I often have to modify lessons to the materials we have. With the help of our community, we will be able to expand the student's overall learning. The Learning Zone gives the students the opportunity to learn the same information as in the classroom, just in a different way. I provide the students with many hands-on activities using a variety of manipulatives and books. This allows the students to process the information differently allowing them to succeed in the classroom. With the lack of supplies and books, I am unable to meet every student's needs effectively. With any and all help, it can be possible! Thank you!
