The books will become a resource to students during sustained silent reading. Students will know they have resources within the classroom to enhance their reading skills. These books will also help fill in the time that students have after completing assignments. The posters and classroom decorations will promote a welcoming environment for students to find inspiration in succeeding and becoming life-long learners. Students have returned from a very stressful and overwhelming year spent at home. What they need the most in order to find motivation into becoming active participants in the classroom is a safe, inspirational, and welcoming space that provides them with the resources needed to become high achievers.

About my class
