My students have been lacking in the area of working cooperatively in small groups with peers. The KEVA planks will help in advancing their engineering and design process along with allowing them flexible in seating to enhance their learning experience. My students are always seeking out new areas in the classroom to work (on the floor, at coffee tables, desks, and/or tables, they also need to have materials that will engage and teach them how to work cooperatively with one another. The KEVA planks will be used as part of our engineering unit and encourage students to pursue engineering careers.
