Help me give the students of our school the opportunity to create a sense of community and unify after 2 years of Covid-induced isolation. Now that the students are back at school clubs, sports and extra-curricular activities are resuming. It would be beneficial for all to experience the community spirit and cohesion that existed before the unfortunate health crisis that plunged our middle school students into isolation. Through a bi-monthly digital newsletter (distributed to the entire student body and staff) students and their sports, extra-curricular events, unique talents and school-sponsored clubs will be featured and a strong sense of community will be fostered. The cameras will be instrumental in the success of the newsletter and will be rotated through the journalism students to document students in action. A kickoff extravaganza will be set up in each of the 3 grade-level pods to garner support and interest (using the tables and candy). Overall, a sense of community and pride will be fostered as students build bonds with each other through the newsletter.
