The Cricut Maker 3 will allow learners to express their creativity as they design and make their ideas come to life for our yearly VolumeVille project where learners are tasked to design & construct their own city and find the volume and surface area of each of the buildings located in their building. This allows learners to express themselves through hands on learning and mathematical applications. Due to the recent and on going pandemic, learners did not always have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning. Learners will be able to show case their creativity with the various abilities of the cricut maker. The products I have selected will allow learners to collaborate together towards a common goal in their mathematical applications. Collaboration is something learners will have to build up towards since they spent over a year not being able to work with each other or even see each other face to face. My hope is that learners can learn to work together, show out their creativity, and engage in team building.
