Approximately 75% of my students are reading at least one year below grade level. Of my classes, 40% of my students receive Response to Intervention small group assistance for at-risk students. The Reading Plus Program will add an additional resource for students to use at school as well as at home to allow parents and other stakeholders to assist in their child's success. Parents will have the opportunity to see how the standards are presented to better support reading/vocabulary skills and concepts and be able to assist student learning at home.
