These books will serve students as a portal to transport them to other countries and see how other children live and as a way to travel back in time to see how kids faced injustices in America for being "different." I want these books to inspire students to think about how they can make a difference in their community. These books will encourage students to read and to become familiar with books. There is nothing more magical than holding a book in your hands. These books will be for students to read in class and at home. Let's encourage our kids to read.
