With your generous gift for my Yoga Club, my students will be able to stretch and flow on their own mats and get the full experience. Mats are necessary for optimal physical performance, meditation, and also used for "shavasana" (resting corpse pose.) The yoga blocks will enable students to have props for support so they are able to get the full benefits of a pose as a beginning yogi. Sometimes even the best of us need a little bit of help. Furthermore, the yoga straps are used to enhance stretching both the arms and the legs in restorative sessions. Our school has given both teachers and students an opportunity to use a constructive block of time to nourish individual interests and grow as people. Yoga Club meets for 30 mins once a week and can have a positive impact on a student's frame of mind. I have chosen to share my practice of yoga with my students. Yoga is a practice that goes beyond the classroom. It is a lifelong practice. Mindfulness is a practice students can do in a group and individually. In short, yoga benefits the mind, spirit and physical body. NAMASTE.
