Kindergartner's have a rigorous day of learning and look forward to ELA Center Rotations every day. ELA center rotations provide students with the opportunity for choice, differentiation, collaboration, academic engagement, and purposeful play. Not only is it their favorite part of the day, but it allows me to provide invaluable small group reading instruction to all my students. COVID restrictions last year prevented many of my students from attending preschool and interacting with peers. Even students that were able to attend preschool, had limited opportunities for learning how to work and play with others. Many of my students missed a full year of incredibly important social and academic firsts. It has been amazing to watch them blossom and center rotations have been a huge part of that transformation!
