My second grade students are required to use technology in many different ways. Both in class to learn and in the age of Covid if they, unfortunately, have to be home. Having access to technology to perform in class tasks is of utmost importance. We use many different technology platforms. The goal for my classroom is that 100% of students will be using technology to grow in their math and reading abilities. Using the technology of multiple Kindle Fires in my classroom my students will be allowed to be 100% digital. This will be done in reading and math groups on various ELA and Math digital platforms that are engaging, fun, and most importantly educational and data-driven. Being able to assist my students in logging in and navigating around the site will help them when they have to use it at home. Also, each digital platform differentiates each students individual lessons so they are learning at their own pace and ability. This is why it's so important that my students have access to devices that can help to ensure successful learning!
