At the high school that I work at, it is my students' "get away". We are located in a low income zone, we do have students who do not have their basic needs met. With these donations, I hope to build a classroom that looks less like a prison, and more like a place where they feel comfortable and safe. A place that is clean, and provides lower levels of stress so they can think more on their current status, then and there, and academics over what may be going on at home.

About my class
