Technology is so important for the student's learning today. A new computer would help my students keep up with the new waves of technology. We have nothing that compares to this at my school, so this piece of technology will for sure make my students are ahead of the rest! If I can be a part of sharing technology with future engineers and mathematicians, I would be honored that I helped them become who they are years from now. The websites that are paid for by the school will help reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. The main one we use is Leixa. Here are a few of the standards that will be incorporated throughout the days. RL2.1-Ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text. RF.2.3-Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words. Due to the pandemic, many of our students are extremely below grade level and this program will allow them to work on the phonics skills they need to be successful readers.
