These airplanes are such a fun project that will teach my students so much about airplanes. They come in flat sheets of balsa that need punched and cut out along with other necessary components like paper coverings, propellers, and strong rubber bands. These airplane kits help reinforce topics like the four forces of flight and aircraft parts and components. These airplanes are very accurate to the actual structure of the real thing. When students are finished building these projects, we go outside and launch them off. It is priceless to see the joy and enthusiasm the students have when they see their airplanes fly after all of the hard work and dedication they put into them.
