These books will allow my first graders to feel confident about reading. Each student will have an opportunity to add these books to their classroom book box. Each book box holds all the books the student can read on their own. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a student's eyes light up when they read a book aloud to you or hearing the joy in their voice. They are proud! Putting books in the hands of these students will open their eyes to the wonderful adventures books hold. First grade is a critical grade to grab students' attention to reading. My goal is to have students love reading as much as I do.
