The items I am requesting for our classroom have been on our Wishlist for sometime. Students will be working on a poetry journal throughout our CKLA unit 3. This directly aligns with RL.4.5 RL.4.10. As a final project students will design and create a canvas with an original poem. Students will paint and illustrate their final project. At the end of the unit students will showcase their work. During the pandemic students had little to no opportunity to do hands on projects and I have discovered that they enjoy these projects the most; especially painting. I aim to provide a calm and relaxing learning environment that feels like home.
