Podcasts and Video Podcasts are not only one of the most popular media platforms to create specific themed content, but also a great class resource to produce and distribute class materials and information. The pandemic has taught us that virtual learning is not going anywhere, and options such as podcasts are a great resource so that non-face-to-face students can become familiar with the content of their classes. Additionally, new technologies encourage and promote the creativity of students who find in these new media a comfortable space to express themselves and create. My project aims to offer to all my students (9th-12th), the opportunity to develop their own content by using podcast and video podcast platforms by using these microphones, mixer, and headphones. As a CTE program, we prepare students not only for college but also for them to join the broadcast and video production industries, where this type of media and technology are commonly used. We are part of a sports and CTE school, which makes this a very important project for our entire community. Besides the regular class content, we would be able to create and distribute content about our athletes, student's life, CTE projects and resources, community initiatives, and much more! Help us to create this valuable resource and space for our students!
