Understanding race is fundamental to understanding US history. A class set of "Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You" by Dr. Kendi will enable students to grasp abstract concepts such as race while critically analyzing US history. Dr Kendi's book will enhance reading and writing skills as students engage with relevant material. It will also foster powerful discussions. Students will be challenged to relate the US's past with its present. Once they have an in-depth understanding of the past, students can reimagine a better society and better future where Americans are united.
