This donation would make it so my students can manage all the intricacies of hosting and participating in mock trials in the classroom and in the school club setting. Mock trials help develop students' questioning skills, critical thinking, and oratory skills. The students will learn about their due process rights while they demonstrate the roles of various actors in the legal system. This project will provide the classes and club with exposure to legal resource people, such as judges, attorneys, law school students, police officers, correctional officers, and former jurors.
