Mojave High is a title 1 school. Most of the students come from low income family's in a high poverty community. Equipment for baseball can get pricey for student athletes. These items will help build a high school baseball program for an inter-city school and help keep students off the streets. These items will increase the safety and protection of our student athletes who are unable to purchase these items on their own. Mojave high school had a total of 13 students come out to baseball last season. Some of the reasons why baseball is a sport that requires more equipment than you local community park. These items will be used to help cut the cost of equipment budget for the team on the year.
