We are creating a positive and motivational space within our school where students can learn and practice mindfulness through individual and small group interventions to include games and relaxation tools. Positive affirmations and other incentives will be created for additional supports and practice. Our students have experienced traumatic losses during the pandemic and need resources to re-learn and practice coping skills and growth mindsets in order to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. All students in our building will have access to this mindfulness room and will benefit from the positivity and safe space.

About my class
