6th-grade students will benefit from working at the whiteboards around the classroom for the 6th-grade math standards in the number system, expressions and equations, and statistics and probability. My students need to be able to get out of their seats and work on their math problems. With everyone at the board at once, they can help each other and I can immediately see who needs additional assistance. During COVID-19 students weren't able to work with other classmates to learn from each other. The ability for them to demonstrate their knowledge is a huge part of the learning process. The project includes boards and fresh markers as well as scissors and glue sticks.
