This project will supplement and support social-emotional learning standards as well as developmental skills, foundational reading skills, creativity, and collaboration. The standards this project will specifically support are RF.K.1, RF.K.4, RL.K.10, SS.K.1, SS.K.11, SS.K.13, SS.K.14. Students will benefit from a variety of materials that will enrich their language experience, creativity, and support their social-emotional learning. These items will give students individual social-emotional and literacy center materials and books to foster social-emotional learning in addition to academic standards. Hands-on learning materials will support important social skills such as sharing and collaboration as well as creativity.
