I want my students to have the opportunity to be successful both at home and at school. They have spent half their lives dealing with COVID. With what I'm requesting students will be able to use the resources at home to make that connection between what is being taught at school and what can be applied at home. Each of the backpacks requested comes with letter cards to help students engage in conversation, an activity book for them to practice writing for fine motor skills, and counting bears to incorporate number correspondence. The materials I'm requesting align with Nevada Academic Content Standards which will carry them through the rest of their academic careers. These are all activities that most have not done due to COVID impacting their learning. With this donation student learning will improve in letters and numbers to encourage successful readers and mathematicians.
