Students all learn at different paces and in different ways. Learning centers help differentiate instruction so that all students get what they need. The materials we are requesting will help our classroom successfully implement learning center. The headphones will allow students to listen along to stories they are reading. Also, with the microphones attached, students will be able to read aloud and record themselves so that we can monitor their fluency. The easel charts and flipchart markers will be used to make anchor charts and posters for the classroom. The dry erase boards can be used for whole class activities and for centers. These materials will help keep students engaged in learning.
