The main purpose of the headphones is for testing. 2-3 times a year, students take diagnostic assessments to determine if they are on-track for their grade level. Some sections read to them, so by each student having his/her own set they will be able to focus more. Additionally, throughout the year they must complete different assignments on their devices, which also read to them.
