In just the few short weeks that we have been at school I see a real need to support students both socially and emotionally. Our school receives 100% free and reduced cost lunch. Many of my students don't get the treats that I am requesting at home. Also many students ride the bus to school some for more than an hour each way. The snacks, stickers and school supplies will help them as they are trying to return to a normal school. The items I am requesting will help lift there spirits, allow for social and emotional learning and comradery as we try to navigate the return to school. I plan to host before and after school sessions with students to help them meditate, create personal relationships, and better communication skills. Thank you.
