I am a new teacher in Las Vegas and I want my classroom to be inviting for the students when they come in each day. Currently, my walls are bare, so with borders and posters, I can turn my room into an inviting area for learning. The markers and posters boards will allow me to put up classroom expectations, bell schedules, and daily routines. My students are in need of basic school supplies. I am requesting school supplies for my students because many of them do not have basic necessities. This donation will help provide students in my class with notebooks, paper, pencils, highlighters, and a calculator to assist them with the basic necessities needed to complete their work. I would also like to have sheet protectors and labels so that students can mark and label their notebooks, and also protect their classwork. Some students come to school without eating breakfast, so it would be nice to have snacks in the classroom to give to students when they are hungry. The snacks can also be used as a reward system when students are on task. The class also needs cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer to keep the room clean from COVID 19. It is important to provide a clean and sanitized classroom for students.
