Now, more than ever, this laptop, speaker systems, manipulatives, and other basic school supplies are an essential teaching tool to be successful during this pandemic. With these supplies, I will be able to deliver effective lessons to my students. The laptop, speaker system, and some manipulatives will help my kids and me as well in planning well-structured lessons. It will also help my kids in digital classes, and I can prepare Google Slides and present them through our projector. The manipulatives will diminish my students' behavior. I am working with the kids that have behavior/emotional problems. Having well-prepared lessons and activities that arouse their interest will make their learning easy and effective. These supplies will support my students' emotional, social, and mental health being as most of the lessons are digital and easy to present. I am teaching Algebra 1 and I want my students to learn simple basic skills in algebra. Using these supplies I will be able to help them experience and explore how to solve math problems. My students need more time and effort to meet their academic needs. Having well-prepared lessons and activities that arouse their interest will make their learning easy and effective. Scaffolds in learning is really helpful for my students especially using this laptop, speaker system, manipulatives, hands-on activities, visuals, and graphics. I believe these supplies are all essentials for building curiosity in math concepts which they need to have a strong foundation in mathematics and learning the language as well.
