Inside my classroom, we use whiteboards on a daily basis during my math lessons. The whiteboards are extremely useful in allowing me to see exactly what they are doing while providing a place for them to be able to show all of their work. While I have plenty of donated whiteboards for my students to use, we are constantly struggling to provide enough dry erase markers for all of my students to be able to use constantly. It has been challenging keeping up with the supply and demand of dry erase markers due to the heavy usage. A large supply of markers will help ensure all students will have their own dry erase markers to use throughout the school day. There will be no more having to pull out a pencil and paper due to a lack of markers available. The color printer and paper will be a wonderful classroom resource for not only my students' food web projects (5.PS3-1), but to create exciting centers for my students to engage in. By donating to our project, you will ultimately help increase their academic achievement and create a place they will love coming to daily.
