Occupational Therapy strives to help students participate to the best of their ability in the school environment. Many disadvantaged students are unable to have access to printers or computers, which we can help mitigate through your generous donations! Evidence shows that a multi-sensory approach to learning can help to stimulate or soothe students so that they can learn and participate with their peers in the least restrictive environment. Games and various computer programs are a fun way to break up the monotony of the school day and give our students' a much needed break throughout the day. Learning the alphabet on a keyboard is often how we engage students. They are having so much fun that they don't even realize that they are learning!
