Watercolor paints and especially oil pastels is not something my art students get to use very often or not at all. My art students were all taught virtually last year due to the pandemic. To make sure all students could participate with little or no art supplies, all of the art projects were drawings (which I will say were fun). However, some kids had nothing to add color while most just had crayons, colored pencils and markers. To be able to introduce oil pastels and watercolor paints together will be the biggest treat to many of them!!! Students will be making a variety of art still-life projects of flowers, fruit and even cacti. Yes, we will draw again but now we get to add COLOR!!!!!!!!!
